It’s simple:
Biased Content = Less Interest/Appeal
Less Interest/Appeal = Loss in Subscriptions
Loss  in Subscriptions = Loss in Advertising Revenue
Loss in Advertising Revenue = Lower Profits
And Lower Profits, unfortunately = Layoffs
